I have a background in architecture and urbanism and work as a Senior Lecturer at the Joint Centre for Urban Design, Oxford Brookes University. My main interests are in the fields of culturally responsive urban design and cross-cultural and experiential learning. I have delivered several urban design training workshops and design charettes for Brazilian local governments and universities and am currently leading the BUDS project which aims to deliver international research and consultancy for the development of urban design codes for social housing areas in Brazil. 

BUDS takes a non hierarchical approach to learning outside the classroom and across cultures and my esperience has been one of positive collaboration and rewards!
